- Training and education is an essential component in creating safer services and community spaces for LGBTQ people in the Capital Region. For over 20 years, the Pride Center of the Capital Region has delivered comprehensive trainings and presentations for K-12 schools, colleges, businesses, organizations, and governmental agencies in our 10-county service area. In 2013 alone, we reached over 2,500 audience participants. Our nationally-known trainers are experts in providing education and professional development trainings for entities seeking to improve their services for LGBTQ individuals and community.
