Youth Center
The Uplift Outreach Center is a drop in center for lgbtq+ youth and their straight allies. It is located in a space that we rent from the Fernwood Baptist Church. Youth 15-19 are able to attend twice weekly Tuesday and Saturday from 3:30pm to 6:30pm Youth 10-14 are able to attend once weekly on Saturday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm We offer snacks and beverages, homework space, lending library, programming includes but is not limited to healthy relationships, safe sex, self esteem, self actualization, building a resume, voting and activism, healthy peer relationships. We also have a Youth Advisory Council and are youth lead.
