Montrose Grace Place

Location

Houston, Texas United States

Montrose Grace Place provides a safe, welcoming environment for vulnerable youth experiencing homelessness of all sexualities and genders; providing nourishment, healthy relationships, and hope for the future. We serve a hot, home-cooked, family-style dinner to unhoused youth and young adults aged 13-24 three nights in week where we also provide bus fare, clothing and hygiene products, case management, and mentorship in an LGBTQ+ affirming space. Our Diversion services connect young people at imminent risk of experiencing literal street homelessness with supportive services, case management, and financial support. Our youth organizing collective, Youth Voices Empowered meets twice a week and is led by youth engaged in Grace Place services working toward systemic change for LGBTQ+ homeless youth.
