LGBTQ Outreach of Porter County
Mission: LGBTQ Outreach of Porter County promotes an affirming community to LGBTQ+ youth and adults through empowerment, advocacy, opportunity, and support. Our organization hosts PRISM, a bi-weekly youth group for ages 12-18. We also hold two monthly adult groups, one community meeting for LGBTQ+ folks, friends, and allies and another for gender-expansive adults. We host regular monthly community social events and activities. Members of our education committee provide a variety of tailored educational presentations to local business, public schools & universities, and other non-profit groups. Additionally, we participate in local advocacy work around LGBTQ+ issues in the schools and broader community.
