All NewsNEW YORK, NY (October 23, 2024) 𑁋 Today, SAGE and CenterLink officially announced the launch of their new partnership program, SAGELink, an initiative designed for CenterLink members in collaboration with SAGE, the country’s largest and oldest organization dedicated to improving the lives of LGBTQ+ elders.
“SAGELink strengthens and supports LGBTQ+ elders as SAGE envisions an equitable world that all LGBTQ+ people can thrive in,” SAGE’s CEO, Michael Adams, says. “A world where our elders are valued and have boundless opportunities.”
This innovative program will provide LGBTQ+ community centers across the country with opportunities for networking, peer-to-peer support, and capacity building to develop, expand, and improve older LGBTQ+ adult programming.
“We are thrilled to partner with SAGE as we grow our programmatic offerings,” said Denise Spivak, CEO of CenterLink. “SAGELink expands our resources, making a difference for LGBTQ+ older adults and the centers that support them.”
The program will also provide a resource library and quarterly calls featuring topics such as accessible Pride celebrations, age-friendly inclusive services, member program showcases, and the Long-term Care Equality Index program.
